Lynne Goulding

Lynne’s background includes head of function roles within RCA, Thorn EMI, and GEC where she successfully introduced transformational change to reflect the rapidly changing, highly competitive and complex environments they were operating within. Prior to her HR roles, she had a career in sales and public relations with Dunlop, Avis Rent a Car and Dunhill.

A consultant for over 10 years, Lynne has experience of working with all levels in organisations where her enthusiastic facilitative style quickly enables her to build sustained rapport with both individuals and teams. She has extensive knowledge of organisational culture and change, including leadership and teambuilding, and particularly in the fields of capability assessment and development where she has also facilitated cross-cultural teambuilding in the Caribbean and Far East. She is an experienced behavioural observer and coach, having trained in High Performance Management Competencies under Professor Harry Schroder, and uses the knowledge gained working at executive team level, both within her corporate and consulting careers, to bring a strong business focus to the activity.

Laurie Goulding

Laurie joined People Initiatives in 1995, following a highly successful career in both blue chip and rapid-growth businesses in banking and financial services, travel, IT and manufacturing in the private sector, and a variety of public sector organisations. Throughout his career, which included an international involvement, he has developed and implemented successful innovations in a broad range of HR disciplines. His prime strengths of strategy formulation, system design and implementation, team leadership and facilitation, and project management enable him to introduce successful major change programmes in a number of different circumstances. These include corporate downsizing, company acquisitions and overseas expansion, but his abilities are employed to greatest effect when the business need is for a major shift in corporate culture, re- aligning people values, behaviour and contribution to a changing business environment.
